Duchetti, Claudio (died in 1585) French publisher, carver and trader in Rome. He worked from 1570 to 1585. After the death of Antonio Lafreri, he took over his business, and continued publishing maps. Among his earliest maps is a map of Mediterranean isles, including Minorca, Mallorca and Cyprus. He passed on his printing blocks to Giovanni Orlandi, who, in 1602, published several of them.
